Today's Vocal Tip clip deals with the opposite issue of the previous video about using the hooty 'OO' to combat a high larynx. This time, the focus is on releasing a depressed larynx caused by a retracted tongue. The witchy pharyngeal 'AGH' is our tool of choice. The exaggeration is temporary and the goal is to be able to get a more natural balanced laryngeal position. I'm back with another new vocal tip video. This is an agility exercise focusing on an ascending pattern. For a lot of people, it's easier to be agile while vocalizing downwards so this one can be a good tool to work on balancing out the voice. Go have fun with it.
